HAPPY THANKSGIVING

As we enter the holiday season...

Wishing everyone a Happy Thanksgiving, with hopes you are able to relax away from the pool deck and enjoy time with family and friends. Thank you for all you do for your swimmers, clubs and Illinois Swimming.

COLLEGE COMMITMENTS

We want to recognize the Illinois Swimming Athletes committing to the next level of the academic and athletic careers!

Encourage your athletes to complete the form to be featured. We will post in groups, in the order they are received!

Congratulations to those athletes and clubs!

SENIOR QUAD CHALLENGE

Registration for the Girls Senior Quad Challenge, January 4-5th, opens later this week in waves. Visit the camp page for more information.

Athletes will receive a personalized invitation to the email on file with USA Swimming, 24 hours prior to their application window. Coaches will also be notified.

If you are interested in coaching, we currently have 1 spot available. Please email amie.adams@ilswim.org if interested or have any athletes that do not receive the invitation.

SCHOLASTIC ALL-AMERICA

Congratulations to the athletes recognized for their performance in the pool and in the classroom! The complete 2024 Scholastic All-America list can be found HERE.

Program details can be found HERE. Make sure your athletes that qualify are aware and keep an eye out for the application to open next summer!

COMMITTEE CALENDAR

A calendar of committee meetings can be viewed HERE.

Agendas and zoom links will be available prior to the meeting.

Everyone is welcome to attend committee meetings. Non-committee members in attendance will be without a voice or vote, unless recognized by the committee chair. Any questions should be directed to the chair, before or after the meeting.

ATHLETE ENGAGEMENT

Our Senior Athlete Reps are hard at work to increase athlete engagement!

If you have an athlete interested in a committee or becoming more involved in Illinois Swimming, encourage them to submit an application to get on the list.

This year, you will notice all camp shirts will have JPY on the sleeve, in honor of Jack Yetter.

Please join us in honoring Jack by donating and encouraging others to support the Jack Yetter Scholarship Fund which will provide opportunities for children from financially disadvantaged families with the opportunity to learn to swim or swim competitively.
