Dear Friends
Welcome to our 30th newsletter.
From Prague to Dubai
I am sure that reading this newsletter you will appreciate the emotion and excitement I experienced at the unveiling of MST Czech Survivor Scroll MST#537 in Dubai. If you were unable to watch the event on the livestream it may be seen

I wish to record my very special thanks to H.E. Ahmed Obaid Al Mansoori for creating this exhibition on the Holocaust in his Crossroads of Civilisation Museum -
the first in the Islamic world. His Excellency works tirelessly to improve relations across all religions and as a result of his efforts, Holocaust studies is being added the the curriculum in all schools in the United Arab Emirates.
The highlight of the event was a talk by Gidon Lev, a Holocaust Survivor from Czechoslovakia.
Mr Edwin Shuker, Vice President of the Board of Deputies in London has made the loan allocation possible. I was able to attend Erev and Shabbat services at Minyan on the Palm.My thanks to Ros Kriel and thecommunity for welcoming me. It's not how I expected to celebrate my 83rd birthday, and I was thankful to be surrounded by friends.
The number 48272 was tattooed on the Etzim (scroll poles) when catalogued in Prague where it had been sent from Svetla Nad Sazavou in Bohemia. This was one of over 200,000 items shipped to Prague and which survived the Shoah.
Reuters publicised the event across the world
