💀 Happy Cake Day to My Better Half! 💀

It was actually yesterday, but I was busy making sweets and helping the kiddo decorate a fancy birthday card for my honey bunny while he burned leaves (the traditional birthday activities).

I also made a run into town to VOTE and to pick up Paul's favorite: a McRib. (I totally should have put a candle in it!) And I couldn't resist grabbing a Happy Meal for Xav since they have Wakanda Forever toys!

Also pictured is a fancy card from our niece Mila and a gift card from my brother and sister-in-law. Paul definitely felt the love, as I'm sure you can tell from his animated expressions. : D

Chirp and Barnes and Noble are running a 99¢ special on the audiobook of "Graveyard Shift". I tried to convince Apple to do the same, but they were only willing to drop the price to $1.99, which is still a decent discount from the $9.99 retail price. 

Chirp, B&N, and Apple have discounted book 2 "Pocket Full of Posies" and book 3 "For the Birds" to $1.99 and the "Lost in Limbo" box set of all 3 books is on sale for $4.99 (normally $24.95) at Chirp and B&N. It's on sale for $3.99 with Apple. (I have no idea why they have to be so extra and do things differently than everyone else, but at least this time it means extra savings!)

Well, it's supposed to be autumn here in Missouri, but we're experiencing 80-degree weather today. Which means I'm being harassed for popsicle treats by Xav and frozen pumpkin treats by Lulu. So, I'm off to the freezer.
