Issue 67- July 3, 2020

Hello Friends-

"Welcome back to "The Cre8tive Life"- your weekly newsletter full of lifestyle tips, smiles, and musings.

This past week has been one of those weeks where all of the days seem to blur into one big day...It has been a time of working deeply in the trenches of launching my new "Virtualizations" product offer (special shout-out and gratitude to those of you who have reached out and will become new clients), attending some interesting workshops, doing a bit of art therapy, testing out new air fryer tricks, and a lot of prayer and reflection.

Random stories, pictures, video highlights, and other life musings can be found on my personal instagram page (@e101) and official brand page (@thecre8tiveartisan) throughout the week (when/if I end up posting anything).

*And, if you have missed any previous newsletters, feel free to check out the archive section on my website: HERE.

Continued prayers that you and your loved ones stay safe and healthy

(mentally & physically) out there ūüíó.

My weekly (random) compilation of some of my favorite "cre8tive" things that I want to share:

  • FAVORITE WORD: Quiddity (n): the inherent nature or essence of someone or something; a distinctive feature; a peculiarity.

  • ADVICE:¬†‚ÄúThe flower doesn't dream of the bee, it blossoms and the¬†bee¬†comes.‚ÄĚ - Mark Nepo

  • MOOD MUSIC:¬†I must admit that my spirit has been feeling very drained and uneasy as of late...and, I have had to really lean into things that help to soothe and calm it. Sharing one of my favorite gospel songs that has helped me in that, "Encourage Yourself" by Donald Lawrence¬†& The Tri-City Singers.¬†

  • QUARANTINE RECOMMENDATION:¬†Earlier this week a friend of mine shared a post about a new show on Netflix called, "Say I Do-Surprise Weddings." I have only seen one episode thus far; but, it provided me with just the right amount of "good vibes only" energy that my heart needed. If you're in need of some of that too, you might find it worthy of a binge.

  • THE MORE YOU KNOW:¬†Theres's no doubt about it, the world is A LOT right now...Sharing this list of 10 Healthy Herbal Teas that might provide a cup of calm and peace if you need it.

  • LIFESTYLE TIP:¬† Have some delicates you need to wash, but don't want to go to the dry cleaner? You may want to try that salad spinner that you have around that is collecting dust (or invest in a cheap one). You can wash and dry the item(s) super easily, and avoid the stretching or misshaping that can occur when your hang-dry! Here's a quick demo!

  • FEEL GOOD SHARE: I love this beautiful story of kindness and humanity shown towards Rosario Del Real (also known as Don Rosario).¬†

No specific reason that I am sharing this...I just stumbled upon it in a friend's social post, and found it to be quite interesting and reflective. I inquired about what the book was, and discovered that it's a 1926 novel called, "One, None, and a Hundred Thousand" by Luigi Pirandello. I don't know anything else about it beyond this passage; but, I will be looking more into it.

This week's challenge is a wild card. You pick something special to do!

As a reminder from last week, I have created some new virtual offers for clients called, "Virtualizations!" This is an extension of my curated event planning services. If you (or, a friend) have an upcoming birthday (or other virtual celebration need), I would love to be considered as your virtual event planner consultant! Together we can craft a unique and engaging virtual experience that all your attendees will be touched by! Please feel free to reach out to me HERE for more details! I look forward to working with you!

Starting next Friday, July 10th, I will be hosting bi-weekly Cre8tive Connections community mixers from 6:15-7PM EST. You can RSVP HERE.

Lastly, if you happen to have any future topic ideas, or come across any events I should know about, PLEASE feel free to send those along my way. I always LOVE discovering and learning about new things!

Have a great day, and be sure to take time to enjoy your life!

*"The Cre8tive Life" is the weekly "feel good" component of my consultancy, The Cre8tive Artisan, which is where I "make the magic happen" and curate engaging lifestyle events that help connect us humans in deeper ways. Feel free to CHECK OUT MY WEBSITE to see what I do, and let me know if there is ever anything I can do to help you out! As always, if this newsletter is "not your thing", please feel free to unsubscribe (however, I really hope you don't).
