What do children think about garbage, plastic and the planet?

We believe that the way to saving our planet is by re-educating ourselves and raising our children to care for the environment. Only by being informed, can children become more sensitive to the issues affecting the environment and humankind.

Our Waste Management Department talked with children of different ages about pollution, garbage, water and other eco topics. See what they had to say in a new video series by Moldova #FărăDeșeuri here

Webinar: all about compost

On 20 August, around 40 people met our Ask a Worm team online to find out more about compost. Participants learned from our colleagues how to make a compost and what’s the difference between a cold and a hot compost. See the video here

EcoVisio Healthy Retreat

12 employees, alumni and members of EcoVisio tried out the concept of a Healthy Retreat at EcoVillage Moldova. They did experiments in the kitchen, harvested food, discussed the principles of healthy nutrition and did some yoga. Find the photos here

Zero Waste meet-up

Creativity and fruitful discussions – that’s what a group of young women enjoyed on Sunday, 24 August, at our Zero Waste meet-up. Participants talked about responsible consumption while painting on glass jars for storing dry foods. Colorful pictures here

Low-cost, simple and eco-friendly, crop rotation is a technique used in organic agriculture to prevent diseases and pests, provide a more fertile soil and boost productivity. Find out more about it here

The first Agrifood Business Incubator

This year we kickstarted an ambitious collaboration - EcoVisio partnered up with Katalyst Kitchens to develop an agro-ecological demo-plot on the territory of an abandoned farm in Rîșcova. Furthermore, on the same spot we will be co-creating Moldova’s first Agrifood Business Incubator. More on the partnership here
