Dr. Alma Littles named dean of the FSU College of Medicine

Florida State University Provost Jim Clark has announced Dr. Alma Littles as the new dean of the College of Medicine. She begins in the role today. New FSU research decodes chemical composition from simple photos

New research by scientists in the Florida State University Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry uses the patterns formed by a dried salt solution to train a machine-learning algorithm that can identify the chemical composition of different salts. The work was published in Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.
