I suppose you might be thinking of doing a kind of year-end review. This is a free one from Holstee that goes into some depth and has a warm feel to it.
If you are contemplating less meat in your diet, this brilliant young man, Max La Manna, does Instagram recipes and live classes apparently, UK time I think, and then there is Plant Based on a Budget, a very real approach to daily food and zero waste living.
Pick of my podcast feed this week was The Science Hour from the BBC, talking about why Omicron replicates faster and is less dangerous, and an astonishing segment on food preservatives and their impact.
Bookwise, in non-fiction, I loved Slow by Brooke McAlery. This website reviews her book in depth and links to many other resources, and in fiction, The Midnight Library by Matt Haig. If you happen to struggle with regrets of any kind, or feel that your life is less than it could be, this novel could speak to you.
If you have 20 minutes to watch this, The Silent Child on YouTube is a powerful glimpse into the effect of deafness in a family. It made me cry which is fairly rare actually.
If you haven't discovered Nutritious Movement with Kay Bowman yet, then a great place to start is her Movement Advent Calendar, themed this year around Take A Breather. Her deceptively simple practices will be a shock I expect. We all think we are doing OK until she shows us what our bodies 'ought' to be capable of! The moves do also feel amazingly good, I urge you to try them and let me know what you think.
