On August 2, a study visit took place to exchange experiences at the EcoLocal market in Chișinău—a unique space where small producers, lovers of organic products, and sustainable business ideas come together. During two inspiring days (August 7 and 8) at EcoVillage Moldova, teachers discovered what Sustainable Development Goals are and how they can explain them to children in a simple, friendly, and meaningful way. |
On the 21st and 23rd, two events took place as part of the social poster campaign: a discussion about small actions that protect the environment and how they can be part of a poster, and a practical workshop on creating them. The group discovered the directions of the campaign, the elements of the social poster, what differentiates it from the commercial poster, and tips for arranging the content and message on the page. Towards the end, all participants came out with the first sketches of their future posters. See more details here and apply with your poster in the "Opportunities: get involved!" section ⬇️ |

| Start the change in your household! |
In many villages in Moldova, the lack of clear solutions means that waste is burned in gardens or dumped on the outskirts of towns. However, there is no need to wait for modern infrastructure; change can start with you: collect plastic and paper in one place, bottles separately, and organic waste in a bucket for compost. Find out more about separate collection points here.
