Ready to bring HEInnovate to life at your institution? The HEInnovate Train the Trainers Programme is back, with a two-day on-site workshop in Budapest at the heart of a three-phase learning journey, including a preparatory online session and a follow-up meeting three months later.

Over 1.5 days, participants will deepen their understanding of the HEInnovate tool and Action Cards, develop a strategic approach to implementing self-assessment results, and connect with peers from across Europe committed to building more innovative and entrepreneurial universities.

From Self-Assessment to Strategic Action: HEInnovate and tecnet equity Bring Higher Education Together in Lower Austria

What does it look like when five higher education institutions come together not just to reflect, but to plan collectively? On 28 May, HEInnovate and tecnet equity brought together institutional leaders, innovation managers and technology transfer professionals from five Lower Austrian universities for a full-day workshop at the VIE Space Hub in Vienna.

The day moved from peer learning to action planning: a morning of shared reflection on self-assessment results, with internationalisation emerging as a collective strength and organisational capacity as a shared priority, gave way to an afternoon of concrete action planning using the HEInnovate Action Cards and Action Planning Board. Institutions left with work packages, stakeholder maps, and indicative timelines ready to implement. A third session is planned for November to review progress.

A quadruple helix alliance brings together universities, government, industry and citizens to co-create solutions to shared challenges. 

Impronta Granada puts that idea into practice, connecting the University of Granada and the Provincial Council of Granada across 174 municipalities, combining a digital platform, co-creation programmes and challenge-driven entrepreneurship to strengthen local governance, support evidence-informed policymaking and generate real societal impact.
