Installation and commissioning of the new brewery is complete and we are running in manual mode, this gives the brewery team a chance to learn what each button and valve does and make sure all the sensors are working before the full automation software is activated. We are planning to launch the full automation in about 2 weeks time.

MAKING PROGRESS ON PRODUCTION

We are approaching our first mile stone of 100 casks fast now and will be contacting everyone upto cask 100 to confirm inscriptions this week. If you have a cask below 100 and haven’t heard from us by Friday please get in touch via Paul@blacksbrewery.com. 
Sherry Casks

We have had some slight COVID19 related delays on Sherry Casks, the first batch of 20 came in but the quality was too poor to use, it seems they were emptied in March and left sitting in a hot truck for 4 months due to COVID19. We are committed to only filling the best casks for all your whiskey and ours and opted to send these back and source some better casks. These should be arriving this week and although a lot more expensive than our planned supplier they are in excellent condition.
