, I'm currently writing this from the middle of the ocean ð since I'm on a birthday getaway (my bday was Monday ðĨģ) but of course, I couldn't leave you without this week's TCE!
ð TCE is the weekly newsletter I send out, in case you're new around here!
And trust me , it's a GOOD one!
We love content (well on some days lol) but let's be real, sometimes filming and editing is just a HASSLE!
Finding the location, doing the setup, getting ready (ladies, you know what I mean), remembering to have all the equipment charged and ready to go - it's a lot!
I actually shared a video yesterday on the Tube revealing how I film, edit, and deliver UGC videos to make sure I'm keeping my process fast and simple - if you haven't watched it already click here to tune in!
Basically, no matter what I'm filming (UGC, YouTube, IG) I always start off by making sure I have:
1) The script/outline ready to go
2) I know the style I'm going for
For scripts I normally do bullet points for my own content and for branded content, it's usually word for word.
But no matter the style, CopyAi is a tool I know always has my back when I'm not feeling the inspo flowing.
Then comes the EDITING.
Raise your hand if this is already making your palms a little sweaty because you know the drag editing can be ððŧââïļððŧððŧââïļððŧ
Well , it's time to keep calm because it's actually simpler than it sounds.
1) If you're editing yourself (I edited about 50 videos my first 6 months on YouTube so trust me, I know) use something easy and keep it simple.
I like Inshot for phone videos and iMovie if i'm editing on desktop.
2) If you're ready to outsource - I personally like using Fiverr to find editors!
***Remember a couple weeks ago when we were talking about short vertical content and I mentioned I would share a list of my favorite editors - HERE IT GOES!
Of course, there's a ton of talented people on Fiverr, I've used it for years and always find new people weekly, but to help you save some time - I curated a list of editors based on video styles!
