October comes to a close this weekend as the time changes and temperatures drop, but there is still so much local goodness to be enjoyed! Greens, lettuces, brassicas and root vegetables are in their prime right now, growing more flavorful and sweet with the cool fall weather.

Bundle up, mask up, and continue to shop safely in the open air as we continue to be a source for local food through all seasons(See the note below about changes to our hours starting next Friday.)

A few notes for 10/30:

See you Friday! 3–3:30pm for Seniors + others at-risk / 3:30–6pm for all

Community Guest

Stop by to chat with the Kennett Community Grocer about the efforts underway to open a member-owned & operated food co-op for our entire community. Learn more about this exciting project, how to become a member-owner, and catch up on the latest progress!

Community Event

Starting this Friday, take time to explore the special Day of the Dead exhibit presented by Casa Guanajuato at The Creamery. Learn more about the Mexican tradition of celebrating with departed loved ones, and learn why the monarch butterfly is symbolic for Hispanic/Latinx immigrants. They also have some fun workshops planned!

Please Note: Preorders are still welcomed, appreciated & recommended by vendors who have the option. Find this week's lineup below, and place orders by the deadlines noted.

WINTER SEASON IS COMING!

Starting NEXT FRIDAY / November 6th, we will shorten our hours to 3–5pm

Naturally, the number of vendors will begin to decrease slightly as we go, but we will continue to have local farms – including produce – along with food artisans. We are working to add a few special guests through the holiday season, too!

  • Market will be open every Friday in November + December EXCEPT for the weeks of Thanksgiving 11/27 & Christmas 12/25.
  • We will operate bi-weekly from January to April. Stay tuned for more details and exact schedule!

We greatly appreciate our market community's continued cooperation with distancing as much as possible while shopping and wearing a mask. Our producers also appreciate your respect in this way as you interact with them! Let's continue to work together to keep each other healthy through the cooler seasons. Thank you!
