What you need to do today...

Today's workout is hard, but OMG you'll feel amazing at the end!

It combines five different variations of burpees, built up with plank and press ups.

As I've got a wrist niggle, I'm behind the camera on this one, coaching Gemma and one of my fabulous clients through this workout - you'll love it, enjoy!

As I explain on the audio, Gemma makes her burpees slower and core based so try that option if the hardcore burpees are too challenging for you, or mix and match them!

Your Tummy ATTACK Daily Article!

This article really is a ground-breaking article for women and something I think all women should read.

It includes lots on hormones, medication, the menopause and lots more. Every client I've shared this with has been really glad to have seen it. Women's health and hormones (and gut health!) need to be taken seriously and unfortunately there is a lot stacked up against us.

Your Tummy ATTACK Recipe of the Day!

Roasted garlic is one of my faves as a side dish, especially with wilted spinach and garlic is an amazing food with lots of anti-cancer properties in them too!

Just pop some whole garlic bulbs in the oven with a drizzle of oil and roast for 20 minutes or so.  You can then peel the skin off and eat the garlic inside, it's delicious!

Your Tummy ATTACK Tip of the Day!

Drink more water

One thing I've found when analysing women's food diaries over the last decade or so is that their water intake dramatically drops throughout the weekend!

So today, please make sure you drink at least 2 litres of still water or TA water, it will really help with your Monday morning energy levels and make sure you do this every day, even on your rest day tomorrow!

I'm in LOVE with the TA water so if you haven't tried it, give it a go this weekend! If you don't want to follow the TA recipe, then just add some lime, fennel and mint to a pint glass and refill with still water throughout the day!

    Tummy picture inspiration!

Many people think body changes are about weight loss and weight gain, but what about body transformation?

Let me introduce you to my very good friend Heather Scott Hunter a former trainer who went down the route of body building....

Until she decided she didn't want this body and changed it over about 18 months to the one below!

    More tummy picture inspiration!

And here's Heather a couple of years later! Still lots of definition but with a slighter frame as she dropped the heavy weights angle and changed her training program.

I explain more on the Day 6 audio!

Since the Tummy ATTACK bootcamp was created, Heather had a baby and she didn't worry about what her body looked like for months and months. She focused on breastfeeding, sleeping, nourishment and bonding. As her baby became 6 months old, she started to think more about her fitness but she (like me!) really enjoyed seeing the changes in her body whilst pregnant and having a baby, rather than fighting it and feeling bad about it.
