Exploring the Basics of Authentic Movement

A two-day, in-person workshop with Connor Kelly where we will explore the fundamentals of Authentic Movement.

In dyads, triads and groups you will explore:

● The powerful roles of mover and witness.
● The developmental trajectory of Authentic Movement.
● Layers of witnessing and cultivating deep presence.
● A deeper understanding of structure in Authentic Movement practice.

WORKSHOP 2

Touch - Literal and Metaphorical:
Exploring the spark of life that started with a movement and a touch.
Presented by: Dr. Nana Koch

Sunday 23 February/9.45am to 5.00pm AEDT

A one-day, in-person workshop with Dr Nana Koch on the use of touch in therapeutic settings.

Through practical exercises, theory, group discussion and reflection you will explore:

• The feeling of being touched emotionally.
• Consent in the context of physical touch.
• Ethical considerations for therapists when touch is applied.
• What does it actually mean to be touched and touched by others?
