I'm jettisoning off to New Orleans to join the bachelor party of a good friend of mine. Sitting in the airport now as I type this email on a break between writing sessions.
Before I go, I wanted to share a new sci-fi book with you. This is one of the most eye-catching covers I've seen in a while.
If you like military sci-fi, guns, action, and explosions, I'm guessing this one's for you.

By the way, I enjoyed the conversation in the comments on last week's blog post, plus the emails you all sent me. I love hearing from you. I got one request to do a similar "most impactful" post, but for SFF short stories from the 20th century.
Not sure I can possibly narrow the list down to six, so help me out. What short story sticks out in your mind when you think of the 20th century's best science fiction?
