    Food for Thought

    Power of Persuasion

It is better to use persuasion instead of ordering people to do things. Acts of kindness, a smile, a friendly word can work wonders. Inside each person is pride that opposes being ordering around and tyrannical behaviour.

Always remember that even if you are in a position where you can give orders, you cannot force anyone to respect you.

    Picture of the day
    Golden Web

It was the last warm day of summer in August. We were sitting on the porch of our summer cottage and the sun was slowly rolling down towards the horizon. The last rays of light revealed a spider web above us, and painted it pure gold. The web was quite small, and perfect in shape. During the day I had not noticed it at all.

(I know many people aren't exactly fond of spiders, but I have always found them interesting. I save spiders from harm. And it is good to remember that according to one estimate: if all the spiders disappeared suddenly, the earth would be covered by a 1m deep mat of insects in a week...)

    Writing Blog / Surprise Characters

It is quite interesting when I have carefully planned a plot to a story and then a surprise character writes themselves into it. Now I need to figure out what to do with Time Walker team's Anna's (the weaver who can take people to the past) husband who appeared into the story in Nephilim Quest 4...

I sell my books directly too. The ebooks are cheap to buy and the big e-stores don't share much of the price with the authors. That is why I have downloaded my books to Payhip - they don't take a commission which makes it easier for me to pay my editor, proofreader and cover designer.
