Scouting in Connecticut

Council: The Connecticut Rivers Council is responding to concerns related to Coronavirus (COVID-19). We are following recommendations of both national and state Departments of Health, and local Healthcare officials, and we are doing our part in trying to limit the spread of the virus. Effective Friday, November 6th 2020; Connecticut Rivers Council COVID-19 Update. With Governor Lamont’s announcement this week of rolling back to Phase 2.1, we have received many questions regarding how this affects Scouting activities.

*An email was sent last Friday indicating new COVID policies. In that message, it was indicated that units in red zones must cease all in-person activities. This has now been amended. All units in red zones must cease INDOOR activities as long as the town is listed as a red zone. Click the button below for more information

Commemorative Eagle Patch

Too commemorate our new sisters into the Eagle Scout family we have designed and made available to purchase a specialized Eagle Scout Council Shoulder strip. Its an official patch that can be worn on the uniform for both adults and youth alike. The Eagle Emblem is raised on the patch to provide some texture. Celebrate this awesome achievement and support a Scout locally with the purchase of a patch. Its under Council Shoulder Patches (CSP).  While your there take a look at all of the Camp, OA, the calendar, and other council stuff.
