Trained leaders are critical to the success of Scouting. Every young person involved in the Scouting program needs and deserves a leader who understands the aims of the program and knows how to deliver it with enthusiasm and fun. Trained leaders are more effective at delivering the promise of Scouting because they understand their role, responsibilities, and the resources available to them. Online Training can be found on My.Scouting.org - Menu- my training. Below are some resources for both newly onboarded leaders and parents to veteran Scouters.
In honor of the Council turning 25 years old we decided to have a Council Patch Design Contest. Since we were blown away with the amount of designs and the quality we are running a set of 4 patches and including one might become the new official patch for the Council. We held a vote of 50 or so volunteers, staff, board members, and youth Scouts. These were the ones chosen. All four below patches are only for sale on our online CRC trading post either individually or as a bundle for a savings. Can view all of the submissions HERE! Thanks to all of our Scouts and Scouter artists. We ordered a limit amount and when they are gone they are gone. Buy one or all four for your favorite Scout or Scouter. Be a great addition to any collection or stocking.
