| We started 2026 surrounded by nature, with renewed energy |
On January 12–13, the EcoVisio team arrived in Trebujeni—a place that offered us exactly what we needed to start 2026 with clarity, energy, and connection. For two days, we allowed ourselves to slow down and be present with each other. We looked back on the past year through reflection and gratitude exercises, created space to get to know each other more deeply as people, not just as colleagues, and strengthened the bonds that hold us together as a team. More details here.

| Dozens of stories and a growing community of environmental journalists! |
We have successfully completed the international SDG LABORATORY for Green Journalism program, which took place in 2025 in Moldova, Germany, and Poland, together with 21 journalists from six European countries. The program offered a unique combination of field exploration, mentoring, and collaborative learning. The articles produced as part of the project are available here.

| When facilitation becomes community: shared practices, connected people |
In our seminars, we are passionate about circles of people, because this creates a space where learning becomes more human and more horizontal. Our trainers do not only organize such spaces for training purposes, but also gather regularly in such peer-to-peer learning groups to jointly weave inspirational models of participatory education. Throughout the year, we keep in touch as a group even though we facilitate separately. We meet once a month and create a space where individual experiences are transformed into collective lessons. In addition to the usual reflections, in 2025 we explored several topics, including: working with teenage groups; reflecting on what learning means to us; sharing the Bohmian dialogue method and others. More details about the community of facilitators here. |

| In 2025, Keep Cool connected people across Moldova through games and reflection on climate change |
Over the past year, with the support of the Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung foundation, we have brought the Keep Cool climate simulation game to several communities in Moldova and created spaces for discussion about climate change based on local examples. See more details about our achievements and plans for 2026 here. |

The first renewable energy community in the Republic of Moldova was created and officially registered in the village of Cociulia, with financial support from the UNDP and the involvement of the Ministry of Energy, local public authorities, public institutions, and other relevant decision-makers. The purpose of the community is to produce, consume, and share electricity from renewable sources at the local level, with priority given to meeting the needs of public institutions in Cociulia. | Connection, clarity, and conversations that grow us as a team |
On February 16–17, the EcoVisio team gathered at the Training Center in EcoVillage Moldova for two days dedicated not to projects, but to the foundation behind them: the people and values that bring us together. We explored our shared personal values, created space to get to know each other better, to understand what motivates us, what challenges us, and how we can build working relationships based on trust and genuine respect. More details here.

| Perception of messages conveyed by EcoVisio |
At EcoVisio, communication is not just about "announcing" activities. It's about how we build trust, how we make complex topics (climate, energy, education, waste, etc.) easier to understand, and how we stay connected with the people who follow us, support us, or collaborate with us.
📣 That's why we want to take a close look at how we communicate externally: how clearly our messages come across, what topics are most relevant to you, what format is useful to you, and where you feel something is missing.
We have prepared a short feedback form about EcoVisio's external communication, which will help us improve the tone, structure, and channels through which we share news, resources, and impactful stories. It takes about 5–7 minutes to complete, and your answers will directly influence how we plan our communication for the coming period.
📌 We invite you to complete the form by March 20, 2026. |

Black ice is no longer a winter "surprise." Sudden temperature fluctuations make it a public safety issue and warrant a sustainable approach: with care for people, the environment, and the economy.
The goal is not to melt all the ice, but to reduce its presence where it matters. And here we need to talk about a sustainable, long-term approach. Anticipating frequent freeze-thaw and heat-cold cycles must be included in city management planning under climate change. Read the entire post to learn about management solutions we can use and basic urban design elements that can reduce the impact of extreme weather events involving ice and frost.
