Lastly, some personally exciting news...

On a whim, I entered a short story into the Romance Writers of Australia's annual Little Gems competition. The standard of writing in this is really high, and I certainly didn't expect anything more back than a helpful critique.

Well, I'm incredibly proud to say that I'm one of only 14 finalists whose story has been selected to appear in the RWA's annual Little Gems anthology, to be released at our next annual conference in August. It's going to be held in Brisbane this year so I even get to go... and who knows, I might get to see some of you there!
