We are preparing for this year's NomadMania Travel Awards and have just opened the first step of suggestions of possible nominees. This is where you can propose anybody in the relevant categories you believe deserves to be shortlisted for a NomadMania award nomination.

At the start of this entire process, we review different awards and nominations in the travel industry as a whole.

For the purpose of better organization, we  have classified Travel Awards into five categories: General; Specific Industry Awards; Country-Specific Awards; Organisational Awards and Media/Blogger Awards.

This is by no means an exhaustive list – merely a first effort to classify what is out there. See this ultimate travel award list here.

Live Ceremony in Bangkok 

Last year, we hosted the Awards live for the first time. In typical quirky NomadMania fashion, this took place in an underground shelter in Lviv, Ukraine. Here is a full report from that event.

This year we are joining the Extraordinary Travel Festival that takes place in Bangkok   on November 15-17. Our gala ceremony will be held live on November 17th, with online streaming all over the world.
