The Brandywine Valley Symphony (BVS), formerly the Kennett Symphony, proudly announces its 85th season, marking the first under its new name. The Symphony embraces its proud legacy of presenting timeless classics to audiences in the suburbs of Philadelphia, Main Line, and Chester County. 2025–26 features one special event, one salon concert with food and spirits, three full-orchestra Masterworks concerts, and three chamber music performances highlighting brass, woodwind, and string ensembles. Audiences can look forward to celebrated soloists, beloved classics, and inspiring new works presented in exceptional venues that reflect the Symphony’s rich history and regional presence.

Whoooo’s ready for some faBOOlous fun at the KSQ Candy Trail from 2-5pm, Sunday, Oct 26? Bring your kiddos in costume to follow the trail, find special promotions at your favorite shops and restaurants, and collect treats from more than 30 participating businesses throughout the Borough.

We are a welcoming community from Kennett Square and surrounding areas and we have been going strong for 47 years. We welcome those new to the area and those who have been here for a long time. KACS is hosting an evening of Bourbon and Wine tastings while strolling the beautiful barn and grounds of the Inn at Grace Winery.

FREE LECTURE: Indian Hannah - The Myth & Reality

November 8th at 3:00 pm

Local author, artist, and former Arts & History journalist will share the real story of Hannah Freeman, the 18th-century Native American popularly known as “Indian Hannah.” The illustrated lecture will highlight Hannah’s importance to the Quaker community, William Penn’s influence on local attitudes toward Native Americans, and his efforts to return the land along the Brandywine to the Lenape.
