Newly Appointed SSIG Director

We are delighted to welcome our newest SSIG Director Jillian Watson, to the Academy of Pelvic Health Physical Therapy!

Jillian is a second-year student at Mercer University and has been a member of the Academy of Pelvic Health Physical Therapy for three years. Jillian is excited to get even more involved and engaged with her new position as SSIG Director. Past experiences and awards include Nominating Chair, Early Professional Special Interest Group, Florida Chapter, APTA; PTA Director, Early Professional Special Interesting Group, Florida Chapter, APTA; and the Dr. Leslie F. Taylor Leadership Development Scholarship Recipient, 2020. 

Jillian plans to use her skills in organization, development, and networking to help promote our student SIG to interested students and to help guide our current student members to available resources the are provided by APTA Pelvic Health.

      Hot Topics in Federal and State Policy and Reimbursement

      APTA is pleased to offer an educational opportunity for physical therapist students, physical therapist assistant students, clinical educators, and clinical instructors. Every fall and spring semester, APTA staff will be pre-recording a “hot topics” webinar on federal and state policy and reimbursement followed by a live Q&A.

      On Thursday, November 19, 2020, APTA will make available a free recorded webinar on Hot Topics in Federal and State Policy and Reimbursement via the APTA Learning Center  

      This pre-recorded webinar will be followed by a live question and answer session on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 from 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. ET
