NEW Walking group and Seniors' Social Meetup

Due to popular demand, starting in August we are creating a new walking group! We will do two walks per month, during summertime, in different locations around Levis each time to accomodate as many people as possible.

For August, we are also introducing "Seniors' Social Meetup".  Every other week, on Tuesday, there will be a social meetup for seniors in the English-speaking community. We will alternate locations and activities - the first meetup of the month will be at a café where you can chat and enjoy a nice lunch and drinks; the second meetup of the month will be at a different location (TBC) where there will be a selection of games available to play.

Join with other English-speaking parents at a meet up for parents and kids at L'Anse Benson Park.  There is a play area and swings and you can bring any toys or games that your child(ren) might like.  Please bring your own picnic with you and SSEN will also provide some drinks and nibbles!

We will be meeting for a chat at Kafénio café as part of our Senior's Social Meetup.  You can purchase a drink, light lunch or delicious cakes; please help us encourage a local café.  One of the owners is an anglophone and will be able to serve you in English!

For our first walk of the month, on Sunday August 15, we will be doing a guided tour in English of the Grande Plée Bleue.  It is easy terrain that will be 3.4km long over wooded trails and board walks.  The walk should take 2.5 hours to 3 hours.  SSEN will manage the reservation on behalf of the group, you simply need to sign up below!

We will meet at Genest Farm to pick corn and then enjoy a picnic together at the farm.  Kids are welcome to go and see the farm animals too.

We will meet with our friends from VEQ at Les Bleuets du Vire-Crêpes to harvest blueberries!   You can also go for a walk in the fields, take a break in the fresh air and wander around the boutique.  There is a picnic spot available so please bring a picnic and if you'd like, you could even endulge in a patisserie or an ice cream!

We will be meeting up with our friends from the north shore from the Voice of English-speaking Quebec at Quai Paquet to enjoy the beautiful sunset over the skyline of Quebec City.   There will be food trucks available to get food if you get peckish!

Our second walking route this month will be at the Chaudière Falls.  We will meet up at the parking lot on the Charny side. The walk will take a maximum of 2 hours.  It will be a mixture of flat and also steeper terrain and some stairs.
