Florida State to offer new bachelor’s degree in human rights

Starting in Fall 2022, students at Florida State University can begin pursuing an undergraduate degree in Human Rights and Social Justice. Based in the Department of Religion and shepherded by Terry Coonan, executive director of FSU’s Center for the Advancement of Human Rights, the new interdisciplinary major draws from more than 50 courses taught across the university.

Hollings Scholarship will help FSU student pursue her passion for weather

Hanna McDaniel, a meteorology major from Atlanta, has earned the Ernest F. Hollings Undergraduate Scholarship. Bestowed by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, the Hollings Scholarship will provide funding and an internship at a NOAA facility to parlay McDaniel's passion into the career she has envisioned since childhood. Read more ...
