Homespun is an exhibition created by the Clark County Historical Museum (CCHM) and Two Rivers Heritage Museum (TRHM), hosted by the Second Story Gallery. The pieces here highlight the rich variety of CCHM's and TRHM's collection, and showcases the craftsmanship and creativity of local artisans, spanning various mediums and time periods. From textiles to wood carvings, to paintings and Victorian-style hair art, each artifact tells a story of ingenuity and cultural heritage. Visitors are invited to explore the history of our region through these handmade treasures. Special thanks to CCHM’s Collections Manager Alex Wilson for developing this exhibition.

Opening reception is on Friday, April 5 from 5-8 p.m.

Tuesday - Camas Day. Dress in local apparel.
Wednesday - Mascot Day. Dress like a bee.
Thursday - Hero or Villain Day. Dress like your favorite hero or villain.
Friday - Fancy Nancy Day. Dress up in your fanciest outfit.

Calling all creative kids & teens! You are invited to celebrate books, reading, and art, by participating in our Bookmark Contest! Our theme this year is Where Stories Bloom.

How to Enter:

• Pick up the entry form at the Library or print the pdf.
• Complete your design inside the box provided.
• One entry per person.
• Entries must be received by April 30, 2024 at 8 p.m.

April means that Reading Dragons and Little Dragons is coming to an end - don't worry, they'll be back in September! Bring your completed tracker to the Service Desk by the end of April to collect your prize!

In May, look out for the annual Reading Dragons Coloring Contest!

AARP Tax-Aide provides free income tax assistance to all eligible taxpayers, with special attention to those aged 60 and older. Trained volunteers will assist in preparing basic Federal and Oregon personal income tax returns. 

Doing some spring cleaning and need to clear off your bookshelves? Bring those extra books to the Library! Our Friends & Foundation of the Camas Library (FFCL) volunteers evaluate donated books for book sales, with all proceeds going toward Library programs. Bring donations to the Service Desk anytime the Library is open.
