VISION's mission is to mobilize community resources to help create a better future for Schuylkill County. Our key areas include health and wellness, arts and culture, quality of life, importance of community and economic development.

This is it....the final hunt of 2021!  In late December 2020, VISION purchased an annual GooseChase game license subscription.  As we all adjusted to virtual worlds we too wanted to provide an entertaining and fun way to continue programs.  For the past year we have conducted virtual scavenger hunts that have had participants moving, eating, thinking, and laughing.

November kicks off the final of the 2021 hunts, "The Schuylkill VISION Holiday Hoopla" Hunt.  

The game starts November 5th but you can join today or any day of the hunt!

Complete 5 or more photo missions and be entered for a chance to win prizes!

Play as a family on one device.  Create a "team" name for the individual player.  Or have multiple members of the family play on individual devices for some friendly competition.  Join anytime and complete missions anywhere!  Some missions provide Schuylkill County information and resources but most missions can include images from anywhere!  

You don't have to be in Schuylkill County to play!  Taking a day or weekend trip?  Take the challenge with you!

Who should complete the assessment? Administration and board members of federally 501c3 recognized nonprofit organizations serving Schuylkill County.

When should you complete it? Deadline has once again been extended.  Complete survey by November 10, 2021.

All eligible respondents can be entered for a chance to win a $200 donation to your organization by completing the survey. Participation is voluntary and responses are confidential.

VISION is part of the Rural Communities Opioid Response Program (RCORP) to improve connection to Substance Use/Opioid Use Disorder (SUD/OUD) prevention, treatment, and recovery services. As a Consortium Partner, we implement evidence-based interventions and promising practice models, such as Trauma-Informed Trainings, to expand access to, and strengthen the quality of, SUD/OUD prevention, treatment, and recovery services as well as education and resources for high-risk rural communities. VISION is part of the RCORP steering committee and joins other local nonprofit and grassroots organizations and partners closely tied to the mission.
