Hey there, ,
September has arrived, and it's springtime here in Lesotho! The next two months for us are filled with hopeful excitement! Bryan's mom (the kids' Nana) will be visiting for four weeks! She had planned to come in 2020, but that was canceled due to Covid, so she's never met Isabella and hasn't seen Matthias in five years!
Nana will be here for both of the kids' birthdays, and we have an exciting party planned for them. With the weather warming up, we are looking forward to soaking up the sun and having Nana with us to do some fun activities like a safari in South Africa and exploring parts of the mountains of Lesotho.
I'm thankful that this post will be out before our schedule gets busy! We are officially into the series of being your best you, taking care of yourself. This month I am sharing about a very scary, very dark incident that happened to me and had me in a very dark place.
Sometimes I wonder if I should be sharing about these things. But I think that stems from the lie that is out there that missionaries, or Christians in general, should have it all together. But I am putting myself out there because I believe I'm not the only one, and someone needs to talk about it.
As always, I pray my writing will bless you and honor and glorify God. I hope you get to spend some time with God today, and may He be with you and give you rest.
If you have suggestions for a blog series or any questions you’d like explored in an upcoming series, feel free to reach out. I read every email and value your input.
