I think it goes without saying that 2020 has been the slowest yet longest year ever known to man! It's so bizarre isn't it? We're in DECEMBER today! Mad!

So Christmas is not far away and we're now allowed to open our advent calendars and start the countdown to a brilliant end to 2020. 

Sadly, even when lockdown ends tomorrow, we won't be able to enjoy eating out yet, nor Christmas light switch-ons, festive events or seeing family. However, there's still plenty to do and enjoy...

From tomorrow, we can go for walks and drives, so take a look at our round up of the wonderful Christmas light displays taking place around East Yorkshire. There's a Christmas drive-thru so the kids can still see Santa. Play one of our suggested games with family over Zoom. Enjoy restaurant dining at home still with our tasty local restaurants still offering takeaway and delivery. And there's plenty of great films to snuggle up to on TV and streaming services this week too.

I genuinely hope today's edition can inspire you to have a great week!
