DIAMOND will be holding its second workshop on 12 November 2024, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM (CET), online. This ‘1st Foresight Workshop’ is the second of a sequence of three strategic workshops organised by the project, and it envisages to co-create scenarios of incremental vs transformative change and transition pathways to be represented in enhanced IAM applications.
In this workshop, we will be applying the Three Horizons participatory foresight framework, a tool for structuring future thinking, to allow modellers and stakeholders to work together to respond to pertinent questions regarding signs of crises in our current trajectory as well elements to retain in the current system to ensure competitiveness, and the seeds of change that should be pursued urgently to lead to desirable and sustainable futures.
We would like to thank all participants that actively contributed to our previous requirements workshop. We are currently processing inputs to integrate them in our model development strategy. The third workshop will be organised early in 2025, to identify elements in the pathways that disrupt existing patterns and create an opportunity for a different future.
The expected outcome of this series of workshops will be a clear set of stakeholder-driven priorities that will be used by DIAMOND to guide model refinements and scenario design, ensuring that research efforts are aligned with pertinent stakeholder needs.
Please take 1 minute to register for the workshop and select your preferences on the topics you would like to follow to help us tailor the breakout rooms (survey link).
