There is so much work to do to heal our planet that it can feel overwhelming to determine where to start. That’s why 7GA is launching our Personal Climate Action Center: Action of the Week. 

Each week we will provide one action item for YOU to reduce your carbon emissions. We will also share the amount of emissions that you save by taking the action, and we will track your overall reductions for you.
Action of the Week - Cold Water Wash
Wash your clothes in cold water or use the warm/cold setting instead of the warm/warm setting.

Switching to cold water will save 350 pounds of Greenhouse gases a year. That’s like saving 18 gallons of gasoline! Need more convincing? Here’s some more interesting info about the benefits of washing your clothes in cold water.
