Scouting At Home
Summer 2020

Click here to read the update we sent on Monday.

Dear Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers,

While we can't be together, we'd like to encourage you to keep Scouting At Home over the summer holiday, trying all kinds of new things and forming new interests.

From now until we can meet back, your leaders will be working together on three projects: planning Virtual Events, compiling our new Activity Newsletter and organising badges at home.

We're really looking forward to seeing all that you get up to (and hopefully we'll be able to award a huge bundle of badges in the not too distant future!)

Virtual Scavenger Hunt

Our first virtual event will be an end-of-term Lock-Down Family Scavenger Hunt on Sunday, 28 June from 2 - 4pm. It is guaranteed to be fun for all the family! Those taking part will be emailed the Scavenger Hunt list at 2pm - and they then have until 4pm to post photos of the items they have collected. As well as gathering together items on the list there will be a few items that require a bit more effort/thought/ingenuity! All Teams will be invited to join a Zoom meeting at 5.30pm when the results will be announced and prizes awarded.
