Good afternoon church family!
I think it’s time for some good news, don’t you?
We turn on the news or read the headlines and we see much heaviness and heartache. This season of the COVID-19 pandemic has been difficult for many of us, physically, emotionally, mentally, and maybe even spiritually. But we who believe in the hope of Jesus Christ have put our trust in Him, know God is still in control. We trust He’s bringing good out of what appears to be bad. So, today seems like a perfect day to turn our focus from the bad and to celebrate the good.
So, I invite you to answer any of all of the following questions:
What good have you witnessed recently?
What good has God brought into your life?
What good has God prompted you to do for another?
I’ll go first. I think it’s been a tough season for little ones to be cooped up at home in these times of change. As a family we’ve had little Eve in our prayers. But I’ve seen God really grow our girl into a fun loving, patient and kind little girl. And I’ve seen God’s love in how Brit loves Eve, is patient with her, and makes sure she has fun. God always knows what’s good, doesn’t He?
Now it’s your turn! Hit reply and please share your response with me. I can’t wait to read it. Good news is good for the soul!
Like a drink of cool water to a weary, thirsty soul, so hearing good news revives the spirit. Proverbs 25:25
Thanks for sharing your good news!
P.S. Sharing good news also glorifies God. I invite you to hit reply and share yours.
