In-Person Labs Heading to Maryland, Missouri and Oregon!

The Academy of Pelvic Health is happy to announce that registrations for our Pelvic Health (PH1 & PH2) Lab Series are now open. The health and safety of our members is our priority. Therefore, as we are preparing to welcome our members for our lab series, we want you to know that we are doing everything we can to ensure that all participants are safe while attending the labs. All Host Facilities will require participants to wear masks and gloves and we are also limited in the number of participants we can have to provide quality learning while social distancing. Some facilities will have multiple rooms for attendees.

The Labs will take place on weekends. PH1 will be all day Saturday and PH2 Pain and Bowel Dysfunction will be all day Sunday. Please note: You MUST first complete both PH2 Pain and PH2 Bowel webinars before attending PH2 labs.

For more details regarding date/location for labs, please visit our website.

More than One-Third of House Members Ask CMS To Back Off Proposed Medicare Cut

157 bipartisan representatives want CMS to delay implementation of proposed cuts while Congress works out a solution. Expressing "grave concerns" about a proposed cut in Medicare reimbursements in 2021, 157 bipartisan members of the U.S. House of Representatives are urging the U.S. Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services to do something to stop or blunt them, even if it's a temporary reprieve that would buy time to allow Congress to evaluate longer-term solutions. The proposed cuts outlined in the 2021 physician fee schedule include an estimated 9% drop in payment to PTs, and have been the focus of intense advocacy efforts by APTA and multiple other provider organizations.
