Blood Drive June 30

We are hosting a Blood Drive on Sunday, June 30 at our church between the hours of 8:00 am and noon.  We will also be having our monthly fellowship meal that day outside in hopes of attracting more people from the neighborhood.  Click here to sign up for a slot and it is absolutely ok to sign up for a slot during worship.  And walk-ins are welcome as well.  Please check our Facebook for an event you can share through social media with your friends and family.

June Council Meeting

The June Council Meeting  will be this Sunday after worship.  If you are on Council please be with us as we discuss the church's business.

We Have a New Bishop

Thanks so much for your prayers for Dawn, David and myself as we attended our Synod Assembly last weekend.  And we elected a new Bishop, Rev. Kevin Strickland, former past of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church here in Nashville and currently Assistant to the Presiding Bishop for Worship.  Be in prayer for Pastor Kevin as he transitions into being Bishop Kevin!

Children's Choir

Rehearsals are at 1:30 p.m. on each Sunday afternoon except the Sundays when they lead in worship.  If you have interested children or know of any in the neighborhood, please encourage them to come and join in the fun!  Please contact Lauren for the official rehearsal schedule each month as the calendar is subject to change.
