The Six Healing Sounds of Traditional Chinese Medicine

by Monica Mae Leibson

Chinese Medicine was created during a period when people were  living more in alignment with nature.  Our bodies were seen as a reflection of nature and the elements were used to describe the qualities of how our bodies function. The five elements of Traditional Chinese Medicine are wood, fire, earth, metal and water. Each of these  systems have  a  time of day, time of year, emotion, tastes and sense organ.

Acupressure for Lung and Respiratory Health

by Karen Siegel Propis

The Chinese medical doctors of the past called the Lungs the most tender organ. The reason for that is that the lungs are considered the most external of the internal organs. The Lungs are the organ most exposed to the outside environment.
