~Personal Update~

Greetings everyone!

This personal update is truly a personal one. I've been keeping quiet on a painful situation; my sister fell very ill last month and was placed on life support. Because of the extremely delicate situation and were not sure whether she would make it or not, I didn't want to say anything prematurely. We are now told that she will pull through, but will spend a minimum of 2 months in the hospital and then need many more months of support for recovery afterward. We don't know yet if her life will be permanently altered.

I've made the choice to pack up and spend the next several months in Canada. Where my family was a bit scattered before, several of us are rallying back together for the next bit. I am so very fortunate to be able to work from anywhere. Moving with a baby is not easy, but I need to be there for anything my sister and her family need, and as a bonus I also have relatives nearby to help watch my kiddo. My VA is also such a gem and will be helping update my site and social media as much as she can, too.

I love the work that I do, and I love this corset community. When I was having labor contractions 20 minutes apart and needed something to distract me, I opted to answer corset emails (rather than watch a movie, or sit in the bath, or literally anything else) because I really, genuinely love chatting corsets with all of you! Coming into the new year there is a lot of uncertainty and might be spread thin, so if it takes me a day or two longer to get back to your email, I don't want anyone to think that I've straight up abandoned my corset passion. I don't see myself leaving anytime soon! But for the short term at least, my sister needs me 💕
