As 2025 draws to a close, HEInnovate is continuing to support your institutional innovation journey. Whether you are applying for the EIT HEI Call, building a stronger innovation ecosystem, or looking to scale internal change, this edition brings the tools, stories, and events to help you take the next step.

From community stories and funding preparation to hands-on training and a new call for applications, here’s what’s happening this month:

Preparing your proposal for the next EIT HEI funding call? HEInnovate is a required component, and this session will show you how to use it strategically.

✔️ Hear from the DISCO project team on how HEInnovate helped strengthen innovation across their alliance

Want to bring HEInnovate to life in your institution?

Join a new Train the Trainers programme designed to help you integrate HEInnovate into your institutional strategy, develop workshops, and foster peer exchange. This immersive learning experience includes:

✔️ An on-site two-day workshop in Lisbon
✔️ A preparatory online session
✔️ A follow-up community exchange in spring 2026

Only 30 places are available. Priority will be given to newcomers and applicants from European University Alliances.

📚 User Story: HEInnovate in the EUt+ Alliance

When the EUt+ Alliance set out to shape its proposal under the EIT HEI Initiative, it started with a HEInnovate self-assessment. The result? A shared innovation vision, a stronger consortium, and long-term structures that continue to grow.

Stylianos Yiatros from the Cyprus University of Technology shares how the process helped align nine universities, engage staff and students, and drive action across Europe.
