We're here to help!
Whether you'd like to read one of over 7,000 magazines and newspapers available with your library card, access the New York Times online, or dig into archives of historic Oregon newspapers as far back as 1846, our dedicated tech helpers are available to help you navigate the wealth of digital resources available to WCCLS cardholders.
Drop in on Fridays between 10:30am-12pm to ask questions and receive one-on-one assistance with a variety of technology topics, including but not limited to:
- Finding and navigating online library resources, like movie streaming through Kanopy, e-books on Libby, or countless skill building tutorials through LinkedIn Learning.
- Basic computer skills such as how to use a mouse, open and close programs, create and save documents, etc.
- How to set up and use an email account.
- How to use search engines and the internet.
- How to transfer files and photos between devices.
- Basic smartphone and tablet skills such as how to make a call, send a text message, install and use an app, etc.
- Planning a custom PC build including determining hardware compatibility, budgeting for components, tips for assembly, etc.
All levels of skill and experience are welcome!
No registration is required. If you are working with a specific device, please bring it with you, as this will allow us to better assist you with any issues you may be experiencing.
