Welcome Back Redhawks!

La Roche University recently presented its health and safety plan to reopen campus for the 2020-21 academic year amid the COVID-19 pandemic. “While COVID-19 presents many unique challenges, La Roche has prepared—through extensive and careful planning—to reopen campus for the 2020-21 academic year,” Sister Candace Introcaso, CDP, Ph.D., president of La Roche, said. “In every decision we make, we prioritize the health and welfare of our campus community and neighbors. The precautions announced today aim to maximize safety, mitigate risks and prepare us for a broad range of scenarios as faculty and students return to campus.”

Thank You La Roche Community For Answering Our Students Call for Help

Thank you to the La Roche community for answering the call to help our students in need.  We've raised $44,827 towards our updated $50,000 goal, to try to help as many students as possible.

Here are some examples of the current needs of La Roche students:

• One student had been existing solely on bread for 10 days before asking for help.
• Another student needed money to go to the doctor, but had no money for their copay.
• Another needed emergency dental work and help paying dental bills not covered by insurance.

If you can afford to at this time, please consider giving these students some much needed peace of mind with a donation to the Sister Candace Introcaso Student Emergency Fund.

Thank you again and God bless the La Roche community for your tremendous support!

Renewing Our Commitment to Peace and Social Justice

"Let us work tirelessly to remove all obstacles that stand in the way of true racial and social justice. Let us continue to boldly reject racism and injustice each time it is presented to us."

-Sister Candace Introcaso, CDP, Ph.D.
