Happy Friday, !

I found a magical urban fantasy novel in the used bookstore a few weeks ago and enjoyed it so much that I just had to share with you.

In Libriomancer by Hugo award-winning author Jim C Hines, books are magic. Not only by the power of their storytelling, but also by virtue of what those with the gift can do with them.

Namely, reach into the pages and draw forth objects—weapons, potions, and artifacts of all sorts. Anything that will fit through the pages.

So when Isaac Vainio is attacked by vampires in the library where he works in the Upper Peninsula, he is shocked but not exactly unprepared.

Except when he discovers that Johannes Gutenberg, the leader of the secret organization of magicians he's part of, has been kidnapped.

Talk about an adventure. I love this book because it's such a different take on magic systems. Plus, it's funny and manages to blend action and romance with pop culture references that had me chuckling while I read.

Don't forget, with a popular book like this there's a pretty darn good chance you can find it in your library. Or click through to get it on any ebook platform.

Hope you enjoy!
