Nana Koch has been a dance movement therapy (DMT)clinician and educator for over 5 decades, working in both in-patient settings and in private practice. She has taught DMT theory and practice in academic and alternate route courses around the world. Her expertise is in teaching courses on group process in DMT, the application of DMT methodology to different populations, and teaching the work of dance movement therapy pioneer Liljan Espenak.
She has co-ordinated the DMT Master’s Program at Hunter College of the City University of New York, served as Chair of the Credentials Committee for the American Dance Therapy Association (ADTA), and in various capacities on other ADTA Committees.
