Hello Friends!

Happy Friday! "Welcome back to "The Cre8tive Life!"- your weekly newsletter full of lifestyle tips, smiles, and cool things to check out!

My apologies for being "missing in action" the past couple weeks- I was out of the country, with limited internet, and no laptop...so, I  had to wait a bit to get back to the newsletter. I had hoped to push one out before I left...but, my procrasti-packer ways didn't allow me to be great 😣.

Anyway, my latest "travel therapy" adventure took me to Spain- where I was blessed to see and explore Madrid, Seville, Granada, Malaga, Nerja, and Rincon de la Victoria. It was a bit of a fast-paced trip trying to pack so much in, in such a little time; but, I really enjoyed it. The highlight of the trip for me was the magical city of Granada (so many hidden treasures there!); and, the people that I met along the journey. Plus, the fact that I have been able to continue to practice my Spanish (which I am hoping to one day become fully fluent in).

Now, I'm officially back on the grind for a bit- and, looking for some more work projects. If you happen to come across anyone who needs an event planner or community manager/builder, feel free to let me know!

And, as always, I randomly share pictures, video highlights, stories, and other random life musings on my personal instagram page (@e101) and official brand page (@thecre8tiveartisan) throughout the week as well- if you're interested, too. (Beware of a future dumping of a lot of things on the latter one!)

I hope that you have a great weekend, and upcoming week!

My weekly (random) compilation of some of my favorite "cre8tive" things that I want to share:

  • FAVORITE WORD: Eunoia: (noun) beautiful thinking; a well mind. (***Bonus fact: This is also the shortest word in the English language that contains all of the five main vowels---the more you know, right?)

  • ADVICE:  "Our mistakes don't limit us, only our fears do."

–Heard while watching the movie, "Second Act"

(* which I cannot necessarily recommend as a "must see movie")

  • MOOD MUSIC: This week's music mood has been inspired by some background music that I heard while watching a hair tutorial on YouTube. Jincheng Zhang's "Dress" just seems to instantly put one in a good mood.

  • NEW FAVORITE: This may not be everyone's thing...but, if you like sweet drinks like me, you may enjoy Tinto de Verano- which seems to be quite the summer aperitif that you will find all over in Spain.

  • FEEL GOOD STORY: THIS STORY of newly developed disco clubs for senior citizens to combat loneliness and aid in holistic health (and funded by the government) in South Korea, brought me so much joy. I love everything about it!

  • RANDOM LIFE TIP: Recently, after learning how HOT Spain could be in August, I decided to purchase this portable fan. It truly was a lifesaver on the trip- and, I highly recommend it for a multitude of things! (I'm even looking forward to bringing it to my salsa dancing nights!)

I am feeling a bit drained from the travel this past week; and am not fully energized to write a full musing here; but, because I did not want to delay the newsletter, I was determined to put something out there. I hope that you will be inspired by this!

This week I challenge you to think on the above, and shift your energy into something that you can improve upon.

Thank you to everyone that has filled out the survey! I will be sharing some upcoming events that I have been working on in the next couple of newsletters- so stay tuned for more info and invites!

For those who haven't filled out the survey, I can definitely still use your feedback. So, if you have not done so already, please take  5 minutes to fill out:

Thanks sooooooo much in advance for your time!

***Totally disregard this part of the newsletter if you have already done this.

Lastly, if you happen to have any future topic ideas, or come across any events I should know about, PLEASE feel free to send those along my way. I always LOVE discovering and learning about new things!

Have a great day, and be sure to take time to enjoy your life!
