COVID-19 : Postponement of Activities

Not surprisingly, and not without a heavy heart, we announce the postponement of all our activities planned for the spring and summer 2020 at Salon58.

We had already announced the postponement of the creation residency of Kijâtai-Alexandra Veillette-Cheezo and Frédéric Boivin in November 2020, and now we have to add other activities to this list.

Postponement of May 23rd event

The public event at Salon58, planned at the end of the residence of Fontaine Leriche (Visual Arts, Trois-Rivières) and Sarcloret (Chanson, Montreuil - France) will be postponed to winter 2021. Follow the Facebook event to be updated about developments.

Postponement of FURIES & new codirection

FURIES - contemporary dance festival was due to return for a 2nd edition this summer and we were very eager to reveal the program, as well as an exciting addition!

Unfortunately, circumstances compel us to postpone the 2020 edition to the summer of 2021. However, we plan to keep the scheduled program intact and present all the works that had been selected for the 2020 edition, the following year. We greatly thank the artists for their flexibility and understanding.

For this second edition of the festival Priscilla Guy has teamed up with Sébastien Provencher as new co-artistic director of FURIES. An active choreographer and performer in his community, Sébastien Provencher is interested in the forms of hybrid shows and living art as an object of socio-political engagement. This new shared artistic direction promises a renewed dynamism for the 2nd edition of FURIES coming in July 2021.
