KALPA Galleries are honoured to present HANSHA art exhibition in the beautiful resort setting of Amanzoe in the Peloponnese region, Greece. The exhibition's title comes from the Japanese term hansha meaning reflection, it presents the nature-inspired Botanica Vitrea Venetian glass sculpture by Italian artist Michela Cattai in dialogue with the textural Bronze Paintings series of French artist and designer Pierre Bonnefille.

The iridescent atmosphere created by the exhibited artworks, the play of light, and the association with the archetypal element of water resonates with the essence of Amanzoe and invites the viewers to enter a state of meditation and fluidity, facilitating a sense of renewal and regeneration.

The exhibition's narrative is strictly connected to the concept of reflection, as well as to the techniques used by the artists and the translucent texture of the artworks: mineral and bronze pigments, paint and glass joined together. Absorbing and reflecting the warm sunlight of the Peloponnese region, HANSHA mirrors echoes and visions of the surroundings, within a stream of connections and suggestions, from the mystical atmospheres of the land to the underwater world. Antique gold, umber and ochre are the prevalent colours conventionally associated with divine and spiritual enlightenment.

Aman ushers in serenity. Like a book of untold stories, the Spirit of Aman is intangible. Tales informed and enriched by culture, community, nature – this is a narrative emulated by many, yet delivered by Aman, it is inimitable.

Scattered with Unesco-protected ruins, the beach-fringed Peloponnese has been at the heart of Greek culture for millennia. Framed between sky and sea, Amanzoe is an Aegean temple on the edge of the peninsula, where rolling olive groves meet golden sands.
