- Agate Lake boat launch is open. The lake is 100% full.
Agency Lake
- Henzel and Petric Park's boat ramps are open.
Alsea River
- The Port of Alsea boat launch is open. Alsea Bay has no maintained channel or jetties to provide safe navigation to or from the ocean. Dangerous conditions exist at the mouth of the Alsea on ebb tides. Because of new siltation around and in the marina, please avoid using the boat launch on minus tides.
Applegate Reservoir
- Hart-Tish ramp is open, and the water is approximately 57 feet over the bottom of the ramp.
- French Gulch boating access open, and there is approximately 127 feet of water over the end of the ramp.
- Copper ramp is open, and the water level is approximately 65 feet over the bottom of the ramp.
Badger Lake
- Badger Lake Campground is closed.
Ben Irving Reservoir
- Ben Irving boat launch is open and accessible.
Beulah Reservoir
- The Beulah launch has approximately 23 feet of water over the end of the ramp and the reservoir is nearly full.
Big Lake
- Big Lake West, Big Lake campgrounds, and Big Lake Day Use boating access sites are anticipated to reopen in May.
Blue Lake
Blue River Reservoir
- Saddle Dam boat ramp is open and there is more than 55 feet of water over the bottom of the boat ramp.
- The Lookout boat ramp water level is 20 feet over the bottom of the ramp.
- Mona Campground boat ramp is open.
Bradley Lake
- Bradley Lake boat ramp is open.
Brownlee Reservoir
- UPDATE: The Spring Recreation Campground is open, and the dock has been installed. Water is approximately 15 feet above the bottom of the ramp.
- UPDATE: Hewitt Park low-water ramp is open, and the docks are floating. Water is approximately 32 feet over the end of the ramp. Baker County Parks would like to remind everyone that driving on the shore is not allowed and that the ramp is for launching and retrieving boats only.
- UPDATE: Holcomb Park is open, and water is approximately 23 feet over the end of the ramp. Baker County Parks would like to remind everyone that driving on the shore is not allowed.
- UPDATE: Farewell Bend State Park is open, and docks are floating. The water level is approximately 33 feet above the bottom of the boat ramp.
- UPDATE: Moonshine Mine boat ramp is open, weather permitting. There is approximately 50 feet of water above the bottom of the boat ramp.
Bully Creek Reservoir
- The Park and boat ramp are open, and the docks are floating. Water is approximately 35 feet over the end of the ramp.
Campbell Lake
- Campbell Lake Ramp is delayed in reopening for the season.
Cape Meares Lake
- The boat ramp is open and in good condition.
Carmen Smith Reservoir
- The closure has been extended to the spring of 2025.
Chetco River
- Alfred A. Loeb State Park access to the gravel bar is open. There is a drop off on the access to the gravel bar.
- Miller Bar, Nook Bar, Redwood Bar, and South Fork Campgrounds and Day Use areas have large drop offs on the access to the gravel bar.
Chickahominy Reservoir
- The boat ramp is open, and docks are floating.
Clackamas River
- Clackamette Park is open and available for nonmotorized launch from shore, however the boat ramp is closed for the foreseeable future due to safety concerns.
- The Milo McIver State Park boat ramp is open. Campground will be closed for restroom upgrades and general improvements from September 16, 2024 – January 31, 2025.
- Moore Creek, Sandstone, and Hole-in-the-Wall Boat Access sites are open year-round, weather permitting.
Clear Lake (Wasco County)
- UPDATE: The lake is 37% full. The campground and boat launch are open.
Clear Lake (Linn County)
- Clear Lake Resort, marina and ramp are open. This is a great place to paddle, but dress appropriately because the water is very cold year-round.
Coast Fork-Willamette River
Coffenbury Lake
Cold Springs Reservoir
- UPDATE: Cold Springs Reservoir is 54% full. The reservoir is located approximately 20 minutes east of Hermiston. There is a primitive boat ramp and gravel parking. This is a great place to paddle, fish and watch wildlife.
Columbia River
- UPDATE: Chinook Landing ramp, docks and restrooms are open. The pumpout and dump stations are repaired and open.
- UPDATE: West Mayer State Park is anticipated to be reopened by May 29. It is currently closed while upgrades are made to the boat ramp, parking, and restroom. Mayer State Park - Oregon State Parks
- ADVISORY: The Oregon Department of State Lands (OAR 141-088-0036) permanently restricts the use of vehicles and discharge of firearms from Oregon-owned lands, including islands, in the Sandy River Delta. The use restriction area extends from the mouth of the Sandy River to the I-84 bridge crossing, including the Columbia River side channel. Oregon Secretary of State Administrative Rules
- The Port of Arlington has turned off the water due to a line break. The pumpout and dump station is unavailable while repairs are underway.
- Tomahawk Bay Marina pumpout and dump station are closed for maintenance.
- The Rainier City Marina and boat ramp are open.
- Port of The Dalles boat ramp, short-term tie-up dock, pumpout and dump station are open. The marine fuel station is operated by the Yacht Club and offers both diesel and gasoline.
- Boardman Marina and boat ramp are open.
- M. James Gleason boating access is open. The pumpout and dump station are closed for maintenance.
- The City of St. Helens Courthouse Docks are open. The pumpout and dump station are available. A section of the debris boom has disappeared allowing debris to accumulate on the docks. Be watchful for debris when using the dock. The City received a grant at the Marine Board meeting April 24 to repair bull rails, wales, bumpers and replace the missing debris boom section.
- Port of Cascade Locks boat launch is open.
- Rooster Rock day use is open. The launch ramp is only usable during higher river flows due to heavy sedimentation.
- Hat Rock State Park is open.
- Warrenton Marina and boat ramp are open. Use caution when using the boarding docks.
Cooper Creek
- Cooper Creek boat launch is open.
Coos Bay
- The City of North Bend has removed the California Street docks for maintenance and repair.
- The Charleston marina is open year-round. Both pumpout and dump stations are operational.
- Empire Boat Ramp is open, and docks are installed.
- The Eastside Boat Ramp is closed due to a large boat collision with the facility. The City of Coos Bay is working to repair the docks, inspect the boat ramp, and obtain permits.
- North Spit docks are not installed and there is significant sand at the bottom of the ramp.
Coos River
- The Myrtle Tree boat ramp is open.
Coquille River
- The Port of Bandon has reopened the boat ramp and marina. The contractor is still completing some items and utilities are not available in the marina until late May.
- Arago Boat Ramp is open. Boarding docks are not installed.
- Sturdivant Park's boat ramp and docks are open, water levels are tidally influenced. The fish cleaning station is available for use. The ramp is expected to close for complete reconstruction between August and September.
- Bullard’s Beach docks are installed.
- Riverton boat ramp is open.
- Coquille Boat Ramp is closed due to silt and debris from river flooding.
Cottage Grove Reservoir
- Lakeside Boat Ramp is open. There is approximately 45 feet of water over the end of the ramp.
- Wilson Creek boat ramp is open and has 11 feet of water over the end of the ramp.
Cougar Reservoir
- UPDATE: Slide Creek Campground and Echo Park are open and water levels continue to rise. However, water is still more than 35 feet below the bottom of the ramps.
Crane Prairie
- UPDATE: Rock Creek boating access docks have been installed.
- UPDATE: Crane Prairie Day Use boating access boarding docks are installed. The fish cleaning station is out of order.
- Quinn River boat launch and campground are open. The ramp has a shallow slope, and the asphalt approach is damaged and breaking apart.
- Crane Prairie Resort and Marina are open.
- Browns Mountain boating access has a shallow slope with four-inch gaps between concrete planks. The location on the reservoir provides for calmer water and is a great place for paddlers to explore.
Crescent Lake
- UPDATE: Crescent Lake Day use is open. Docks will not be installed this year due to low water. The lake is approximately 21% full.
- Spring Campgrounds and boat launches are not yet open for the season.
Crump Lake
Crystal Creek
- Malone Springs boat launch is open. Hand launching is available.
- Rocky Point ramp on Recreation Creek is about ten-minute drive south and trailered boats can use the boat ramp.
Cullaby Lake
- NEW: Sherri Hathaway Memorial Regatta is scheduled June 15th and 16th
from 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM both days. Columbia Outboard Racing Association Boat Race | Clatsop County OR The Carnahan docks and gravel ramp will be open, and people can boat in the north arm during the race. Boaters are asked to stay out of the main part of the lake during racing times.
- Cullaby Lake Park is open, and docks are floating.
Cultus Lake
- UPDATE: Cultus Lake Campground and boat ramp are open, and dock installed.
- Big Cove, West Cultus, and Little Cove Boat-In Campgrounds are closed until mid-June.
Davis Lake
- East Davis Lake campground and boat launch are open.
Depoe Bay
- Depoe Bay boat ramp is open.
Depot Slough
- The Port of Toledo docks and pumpout are open.
Deschutes River
- Bull Bend and Cow Meadow Campgrounds and boating access sites are open.
- Big River, Pringle Falls and Wyeth Campgrounds and boat ramps are open.
- Heritage Landing and Tenino boat launches are open.
Detroit Lake
- UPDATE: Cove Creek Campground boat ramp is open, and water is 18 feet over the end ramp. The boarding docks are off the guideway. Use caution when using.
- UPDATE: Water is three feet over the end of the State Park D ramp. Please avoid power loading your boat on and from your trailer. Power loading and unloading can damage the lower portion of the boat ramp causing expensive repairs and permitting.
- UPDATE: Southshore Campground is open. Water is 17 feet over the end of the ramp.
- UPDATE: Hoover Campground is open, and water is 16 feet over the bottom of the ramp. The boarding docks are off the guideway. Use caution when using.
- UPDATE: Kane’s Marina is open and there is approximately 13 feet of water under the marina.
- UPDATE: Mongold upper boat ramp lanes and docks are open, and water elevations are nine feet over the bottom of the ramp. Please avoid power loading your boat on and from your trailer. Power loading and unloading can damage the lower portion of the boat ramp causing expensive repairs and permitting.
- UPDATE: State Park G loop boating access is open. The water elevation is approximately 29 feet over the bottom of the boat ramp.
- Detroit Lake Marina is open.
Devil’s Lake
- Devil’s Lake State Park West Campground and dock are open.
- Devil’s Lake State Park East boat ramp is open.
Dexter Reservoir
- Lowell and Dexter State Park boat ramps are open, and water is approximately seven feet above the bottom of the ramps. Please avoid power loading your boat on and from your trailer. Power loading and unloading can damage the lower portion of the boat ramp causing expensive repairs and permitting.
Diamond Lake
- Thielson View and North End Boating access sites are open.
- South Shore boating access is closed.
- Diamond Lake Campground is closed.
Dog Lake
- Dog Lake Campground and boating site are open.
Dorena Reservoir
- Harms Park boat ramp is open, and the water is 12 feet over the bottom of the ramp.
- Baker Bay boat ramp and campgrounds are open. Water is approximately 67 feet over the end of the ramp.
Duncan Reservoir
- Duncan Reservoir Campground and boat ramp are open annually from Memorial Day to September 30th.
East Lake
Eel Lake
- William M. Tugman State Park boat launch and kayak launch are open. The south trail around Eel Lake is closed near mile marker one in response to a slide.
Elk Lake
- Sunset View Day Use is open to nonmotorized boating.
- Point Campground is scheduled to reopen in May.
- Elk Lake Resort reopens May 24th.
- Elk Lake Day Use is scheduled to reopen in June.
- Little Fawn Boating Site is scheduled to reopen in June.
Emigrant Lake
Estacada Lake
- Timber Park nonmotorized launch is open, pending high water events. Call the park at 503-630-5210 for the most up to date information.
- The Milo McIver State Park is open year-round, weather dependent.
Fall Creek Reservoir
- Winberry boating access is open, and water is 17 feet over the end of the ramp.
- North Shore is open with approximately 91 feet of water over the end of the ramp.
- Cascara boating access is open. Water is approximately five feet over the end of the ramp. Please avoid power loading your boat on and from your trailer. Power loading and unloading can damage the lower portion of the boat ramp causing expensive repairs and permitting.
Faraday Lake
- UPDATE: The lake, park and surrounding areas are closed for construction. Parking near the bridge and access to all areas across the bridge (Southeast of the Clackamas River) are closed. The area is anticipated to be reopened in the Fall of 2024. Faraday Lake (portlandgeneral.com)

- Boice Cope Campground and boat ramp are open.
Foster Reservoir
- UPDATE: Sunnyside Park day use, and boating access is open. There is approximately 17 feet of water over the bottom of the boat ramp.
- UPDATE: Gedney Creek is open, and water is eleven feet over the end of the ramp.
Fourmile Lake
Galesville Reservoir
- Chief Miwaleta boat launch is open and accessible.
Garrison Lake (Port Orford)
- 12th Street boat ramp and Pinehurst gravel ramp are open. Pinehurst is a great access site for paddlecraft to explore the lake.
Gold Lake
- Gold Lake Campground and Day Use Area are closed.
Green Peter Reservoir
Haystack Reservoir
- UPDATE: Haystack Campground and Haystack West are open for day use and camping. The docks are in the water. The reservoir is 69% full.
Heart Lake
- Heart Lake boat launch is open.
Hells Canyon Reservoir
- Hells Canyon Creek boat ramp is open. The Visitors Center is open.
- Copperfield boat launch open.
Henry Hagg Lake
- Restrooms at Scoggins Valley Park will be intermittently closed for repairs through June. Portable facilities are available.
- Ramp A and C have more than 60 feet of water over the end of the boat ramps.
Hills Creek Reservoir
- UPDATE: Packard Creek Campground and Day Use area are closed. The Boat Ramp is open year-round, and water is approximately 83 feet over the end of the ramp.
- UPDATE: CT Beach boating access has approximately 17 feet of water over the bottom of the boat ramp.
- UPDATE: Bingham boating access water level is four feet over the bottom of the boat ramp. Please avoid power loading your boat on and from your trailer. Power loading and unloading can damage the lower portion of the boat ramp causing expensive repairs and permitting.
Holbrook Reservoir
- Holbrook Campground and boat launch are open.
Howard Prairie Reservoir
- UPDATE: Willow Point and Grizzly Campgrounds are open. However, the boat launches are closed due to low water and hazardous tree mitigation. Jackson County Parks does not anticipate water levels rising sufficiently to provide access at these locations this season.
- UPDATE: Howard Prairie Resort boat launch is open and boarding docks are floating. The Campground is open. Moorage applications are now available for the summer. The reservoir is 56% full.
Hyatt Lake
- Mountain View boat ramp is open. The reservoir is 61% full.
- Wildcat Campground and boat ramp are closed for utility system upgrades through Memorial Day.
John Day River
- Starvation Boat Ramp is open.
Kilchis River
- The float from Kilchis County Park to Mapes Creek is too low for drift boats but is still floatable for individual watercraft.
- Mapes Creek boat launch is open.
Kinglsey Reservoir
- Campground and boat ramp are open.
Lake Billy Chinook
- UPDATE: Perry South day use, and launch are open. The campground reopens on May 24.
- Lake Billy Chinook has begun refilling and is expected to reach summer levels by June 5th, 2024. Lower water levels can affect access – check with recreation providers.
- The Cove Palisades State Park and all three boat launches are open.
- Crooked River Day Use ramp is open.
- Upper Deschutes Day Use boat ramps are open.

- UPDATE: Aspen Point and Sunset Campground boating access sites are open.

Lake Owyhee Reservoir
- Gordon Gulch boat ramp is open. Two of the three dock sections have been repaired and are available for use. More information will be provided once the damage has been assessed. There is approximately 57 feet of water over the bottom of the boat ramp.
- Indian Creek boat ramp is open. There is currently approximately 73 feet of water over the bottom of the boat ramp.
- Leslie Gulch boat ramp is open, dependent upon the weather. Water is 28 feet over the bottom of the boat ramp. Contact Vale District Bureau of Land Management for more up-to-date information (541) 473-3144.
- McCormack boat ramp is open.
Lake Simtustus
- ADVISORY: Pelton Dam Road will be under construction September 3, 2024-November 2024. Expect closures at Pelton Dam. Pelton Park may be inaccessible from the north (Hwy 26) Access from the South is limited to passenger vehicles (30 feet max.) Pelton Park (portlandgeneral.com)
- Pelton Park boat launch, marina and campground are open.
Laurance Lake
- Kinnikinnick East and West are open. Laurance Lake near Hood River allows all nonmotorized water sports.
Lava Lake
- UPDATE: Lava Lake campground, boating access, Lava Lake Resort and Marina are open.
Little Cultus Lake

Lookout Point Reservoir
- UPDATE: Hampton and Meridian are open with water 11 feet over the end of the ramp.
- UPDATE: Black Canyon Campground and boat ramp open May 22nd. The water is approximately 22 feet over the bottom of the boat ramp.
- The Signal Point boat ramp is open. There is more than 100 feet of water over the bottom of the boat ramp.
Loon Lake
- Loon Lake Recreation Site is anticipated to open Memorial Day weekend.
- The East Shore Day Use Area is open year-round. Paddlecraft can carry down from the Day Use Area.
Lost Creek Reservoir
- Takelma has approximately 120 feet of water over the bottom of the boat ramp. This boat ramp is open.
Luckiamute River
- Luckiamute Landing is open. The bank is muddy, use caution when launching and retrieving.
McKenzie River
- UPDATE: Leaburg Landing is open.
- Hendricks Bridge will be closed Monday – Friday from May 13th
– 24th to dispose of all the collected debris. The county will make all attempts to have the boat ramp available over the weekends.
- Paradise Campground, Frissell and Bruckart Landing boating access sites are open.
- Armitage Park, Helfrich Landing, Hamlin, Hayden Bridge, Greenwood Landing, Goodpasture, Forest Glen, Deerhorn Landing, and Bellinger Landing are open.
- McKenzie Bridge, Silver Creek Boat Launch, Ben and Kay Dorris State Park are open.
Miller Lake
- Digit Point Campground is scheduled to open at the end of June.
- Gideon Creek Day Use Area opens June 15th. This is a nice place to launch paddlecraft.
Millicoma River
- Doris Place and Rooke-Higgins ramps are open.
Minam River
- Minam State Recreation Area boat launch is open. Parking in this area is day use only.
Morgan Lake
- Morgan Lake Campground and boat ramp are open.
Necanicum River
- The SEF Johnson Tract boat ramp on Hwy 101 is owned by ODFW and closed for the season. A gate has been installed. Angler access will be allowed during the fall and winter fisheries.
- Quatat Marine Park and Cartwright Park boating access sites in Seaside are open. Automatic gate at Quatat was vandalized so the mechanism has been removed for repairs. Gates can be opened and closed manually.
Nehalem River
- Nehalem Bay State Park is open, and the docks have been installed.
- The Nehalem and Roy Creek County ramps are open. Water is getting low above Roy Creek.
- The City of Wheeler boat ramp and docks are open.
- H Street and Tohls Street docks are open.
Nestucca
- UPDATE: The river is very low. Farmer Creek to Cloverdale is still floatable for drift boats currently.
North Fork Reservoir
- UPDATE: North Fork Reservoir Lower Launch is open.
- Promontory Park boat launch is open. Call the marina at 503-630-5152 for hours.
North Santiam River
- Buell Miller, Lyons-Mehama and Stayton Bridge boating access are open year-round.
- Greens Bridge access is gated. Anglers who wish to launch or retrieve from this site must apply for a key by calling the local ODFW office at (541) 757-4186 and provide your fishing license number.
North Twin Lake
- The Campground and boating access are open.
North Umpqua River
- Colliding Rivers, Hestness, Amacher, Umpqua Landing, and Whistlers Bend ramps are open and accessible.
- Bogus Creek raft launch is closed from the Archie Creek fire. The U.S. Forest Service is working on plans to rebuild the boating access.
Ochoco Lake
- UPDATE: The reservoir is 97% full. The boat launch is open.
Odell Lake
- UPDATE: Princess Creek Campground is open.
- Sunset Cove Campground, day use, and boat ramp are open.
Odessa Creek
- Odessa Campground is open.
Olalla Reservoir
- Olalla Lake Access is owned by Georgia Pacific and is seasonally available through mid-summer, while the water levels are high.
Olallie Lake
Pacific Ocean
- Sunset Bay State Park campground is open for day use year-round.
Paulina Lake
- Paulina Lake Campground and boat launch tentative reopening June 14th.
- Little Crater Campground and boat launch tentatively reopening June 21st.
Phillips Reservoir
- Mason and Black Mountain Road boat ramps tentatively reopen in May. Reservoir is approximately 73% full.
Pilcher Creek Reservoir
Pine Hollow Reservoir
- Both the South and North boat ramps are open.
Powers Pond
- Powers Park kayak launch is installed.
Prineville Reservoir
- UPDATE: Maintenance on the Prineville Day Use docks is scheduled to take place before Memorial Day Weekend. Hazard buoys and no wake buoys are installed.
- Jasper Point Campground and boat ramp are open, with 31 feet of water over the end of the ramp.
- Powderhouse Cove ramp is open with 24 feet of water over the end of the ramp.
- Prineville State Park Day Use is open and currently has 43 feet of water over the end of the ramp. The boarding dock is available.
- Both floating restrooms have been installed for the season.
Rogue River
- Boatnik 2024 boat races will take place May 24th, 8:00 AM – May 27th, 6:00 PM. Boatnik Home
- Grave Creek boat ramp is accessible. Please be aware that Rainie Falls Trail is still closed due to landslides. BLM asks that you stay out of that area.
- Argo, Rand boating access, Galice, Hog Creek, Ferry Hole, Griffin Park, Baker Park, Riverside Park, Dees Landing (Coyote Evans Wayside), Gold Hill Sports Park, TouVelle, Dodge Bridge, and Valley of the Rogue State Parks, Upper Rogue Regional Park (Shady Cove), Rogue Elk, and Casey County Park are open.
Rogue River Bay
- The Port of Gold Beach facilities are open.
Sandy River

Saunders Lake
- The county boat ramp is open.
Scappoose Bay
- Scappoose Bay Marina and boat ramp are open. The Marina will undergo improvements to the boat ramp approach and parking areas. Improvements will include installation of new pay stations, additional parking, wider sidewalks, paving, curbing, and striping. Construction is anticipated to begin late spring 2024, through September 2024. Normal traffic routes and access may be interrupted.
Siletz River
- Moonshine Boat Ramp, Old Mill Park and Hee Hee Illahee are open.
Siltcoos Lake
- The floating restroom is offline while repairs are underway.
- Westlake County Park is open.
Siuslaw River
- Port of Siuslaw boat ramp is open, and the boom logs have been removed for the season.
- Schindler, Tiernan, Konnie Memorial, Tide County Parks, Mapleton, Bender Landing, Farnham, Linslaw, and Deadwood are open.
Skipanon River
- Warrenton Marina is open. There is some winter storm damage on the docks and some areas have been cordoned off for safety while staff assesses damage.
Smith Reservoir
- Smith Reservoir area including Lakes End Campground and boat launch will remain closed until 2026 as part of EWEB's work to retrofit, refurbish and upgrade equipment at the Carmen-Smith Hydroelectric facility. The McKenzie River Trail and associated trailheads will remain open throughout the reconstruction period, wildfire closures permitting.
Smith River
- Bolon Island and Riverside ramps are open.
Snake River
- The Pittsburg Landing boat launch and campground are open and accessible.
- Nyssa boat ramp and docks are open. There are large voids between the boat ramp concrete planks. Use caution when launching and retrieving.
- Dug Bar and Pittsburg Landing Campground are open.
South Twin Lake
- South Twin Lake Campground and boat ramp are open.
South Umpqua River
- Charles V Stanton, Happy Valley, and Pickett boat ramps are open.
Spring Creek
- Collier Memorial Park campground, and Spring Creek Day Use are open.
Suttle Lake
- UPDATE: Link Creek, South Shore, and Blue Bay Campgrounds are open, and the docks have been installed.
Tahkenitch Lake
- Tahkenitch Campground and boat launch are open.
Tenmile Lake
- UPDATE: Tenmile County Ramp is open. Use caution when using the nonmotorized kayak launch. A portion of the launch dock is submerged. The County is investigating if the dock has been punctured and filling with water.
Thompson Reservoir
- Thompson Reservoir and Eastbay Campgrounds are open.
Thief Valley Reservoir
- The County ramp is open. The reservoir is full.
Tillamook Bay
- All Port of Garibaldi facilities are open.
- The Memaloose boat launch is open.
Tillamook River
- UPDATE: ODOT construction at the Hwy 131 Bridge over the Tillamook River is completed. Burton Bridge ramp is open.
Timothy Lake
- Stone Creek, Oak Fork, Gone Creek, and North Arm are scheduled to reopen on May 24th.
- Pine Point and West Shore Day Use areas are open year-round. Inaccessible by vehicle in winter due to snow.
Town Lake
- The Town Lake ramp near Pacific City is open.
Trail Bridge Reservoir
- The campground and launch will remain closed until 2026 as part of EWEB's work to retrofit, refurbish and upgrade equipment at our Carmen-Smith Hydroelectric facility. The McKenzie River Trail and associated trailheads will remain open throughout the reconstruction period, wildfire closures permitting.
Trask River
- UPDATE: This river is too low for drift boats.
Triangle Lake
- Triangle Lake Park is open.
Trojan Pond
- Trojan Park is open year-round for paddling and day use.
Tualatin River
- NEW: Browns Ferry and Jurgens Park floating docks are open.
- NEW: Tualatin Community Park nonmotorized boat ramp is open.
- NEW: Hazelbrook Road nonmotorized put in is temporarily closed due to construction. This access is expected to remain closed until August 5th.
- Fields Bridge Park and Willamette Park Paddle Access are open.
- The Rood Bridge Park is closed, and the dock is not installed. Anticipated opening for Memorial Day Weekend.
- The Farmington boat launch is open. In June 2024, construction will begin on a new roundabout at the intersection of Farmington and River roads. During this project, Farmington Paddle Launch will remain open. Be prepared for detours or delays entering and exiting the site. Work is expected to be completed in fall 2025.
- The Stark (Rivergrove) boat launch is open but in need of repairs. Recommend paddlecraft launch. Limited parking is available on the park side of the street.
Turner Lake
- North Turner Lake boat ramp is open.
Umpqua River
- Cleveland Rapids, Gardiner, James Wood, River Forks, Sawyer Rapids, Yellow Creek, and Scott Creek ramps are open and accessible.
- Scottsburg Park ramp is open, and the boarding docks are installed.
- Bumble Bee and Rainbow Plaza boat launches are open. Intermittent debris gathers with the tides and flow of the river, use caution.
- Salmon Harbor Marina is open and pumpout and dump station are operational.
Upper Klamath Lake
- Odessa campground is open.
- Rocky Point Boat Launch and docks are open.
- Wocus Bay ramp is open. ODOT is still performing construction on Highway 140 and has set up their office in the parking lot.
Unity Reservoir
- The State Park Day Use boat ramp is open for day use year-round, weather dependent, and the docks are currently installed. The reservoir is full.
Waldo Lake
- Shadow Bay Day Use and boating access are open.
Wallowa Lake
- Wallowa County Park is open.
- Wallowa Lake State Park boat ramp is open. Docks are anticipated to be installed for Memorial Day Weekend.
Warm Springs Reservoir
- The boat ramp is open, with approximately 25 feet of water over the bottom of the boat ramp.
Wickiup Reservoir
- UPDATE: The reservoir is 72% full and the North Wickiup Boating Site is open, depending on weather. The boarding dock has been removed for repairs.
- Gull Point Boating access is open.
- Reservoir Campground is closed for the 2024 season due to significant hazard tree mitigation needs.
Lower Willamette (Columbia River to Willamette Falls)
- George Rogers docks are open and functioning.
- Cathedral Park boat launch is open.
- Foothills Park and Tryon Cove are open.
- Jon Storm Park boat launch and restrooms are open. The parking lot is currently closed for the I-205 widening project to allow construction access.
- The Oregon Department of State Lands has approved the extension of a five-year closure to overnight camping and campfires at approximately river mile 13.75 near the Ross Island Bridge. The closure will be effective until December 18, 2028. http://www.oregon.gov/dsl/Documents/Zidell_Map.pdf
- Milwaukie Bay Park is open.
- Cedaroak Boat ramp is open.
- Sportcraft Landing is open. The ODOT bridge contractor is working, so watch for barges and work boats in the area.
Middle Willamette (Willamette Falls to Salem)
- Boones Ferry boat ramp will be closed May 24 for PGE to replace a pole.
- Memorial Weekend Boat Races are scheduled May 24th, 10:00 AM – May 26th, 7:00 PM. Rogers Landing will be closed during the races. NEWBERG BOAT CLUB - RACES
- Hebb Park ramp is open. The docks have been reinstalled.
- Bernert Landing Boat Ramp and docks are open.
- Rogers Landing boating access site is open. Paddlers are encouraged to use the beach area at the end of the access road. This area is near the single car parking area and restroom.
- Champoeg State Park dock is open; however, the paddle launch dock is bent.
Upper Willamette (Salem to Eugene)
- The Aquathusiast ramp in North Riverfront Park (Michael’s Landing) is open. Vehicle access from 1st Street is open. Vehicle access from 2nd Street is closed.
- Riverview Park in Independence will be closed July 3 – 5 for their Independence Days celebration. There will be no parking available.
- Willamette Park in Corvallis (Crystal Lake) boat ramp is open. The boarding dock will be installed in preparation for Memorial Day Weekend.
- Buena Vista County Park is open.
- McCartney Boat Ramp, Peoria Park Boat Ramp and Harrisburg are open.
Willamette River - Coast Fork
Willamette River – Middle Fork
- Westfir Confluence Takeout gate will remain closed for the season but is accessible for recreational use. Please call Cascades Outdoor Center at 541-246-9007 or Westfir City Hall at 541-782-3983 for the gate code.
- The Middle Fork boat ramp near the Dexter Dam is closed through the summer of 2026. The exact construction completion date is currently unknown. The closure is for the Dexter Fish Facility Upgrade.
- Jasper Bridge boating access is closed. There are no plans to reopen the site.
Willow Creek Reservoir
- Willow Creek Campground and ramp are open year-round with reduced services in the off season.
Willow Lake
- The ramp is open, and the lake is 100% full.
Wilson River
- UPDATE: This river is too low for drift boats.
Woahink Lake
- East Woahink Lake boat ramp is open.
Wolf Creek Reservoir
- The County ramp is open. However, the ramp is not currently in the water.
Yaquina Bay
- The Port of Newport boating sites are open, and docks are floating. Check with Coast Guard Station Yaquina Bay for bar conditions prior to launching. District Thirteen (uscg.mil)
