Amber sat across from Kat. “I haven’t seen you in a while. I hoped you were doing okay.”
Kat reached out to touch Amber’s hand. “It is so sweet you were thinking of me. I lost my job a few weeks ago and have been moping around the house some.”
Amber’s jaw dropped a little. “I am sorry. I hope you find a new job soon. I can’t stand to think of you wasting away all depressed.” Amber lifted Kat’s hand and kissed it. “Anything I can do to help?” Amber’s eyes pleaded with need and looked down.
Little tendrils of energy passed through her hand, feeding her starving hunger. “Sugar, you are helping.” Up until now, Kat’s relationship with Amber had always been strictly professional. Sure, Amber would flirt with her from time to time and Kat would play the game and flirt back, but that was as far as things had gone. Something else was happening now.
Amber stood. “Hey, want to see our break room?”
“Are you’re sure it’s okay with your boss to be taking customers back there?”
“It’s not a problem. We all bring friends back there from time to time.” Amber smiled and tugged at Kat’s hand to follow her.
Kat stood and grabbed her mocha with her other hand. “If you are sure it’s all right.”
Amber led her through the stock room to a small break room. The room was barely large enough to fit the old red love seat, coffee table, and the counter with little gray message trays with names on them. The smell of Amber’s arousal in the small room made it hard to control Kat’s hunger. “Welcome to our little hideaway. It’s not much, but normally we are only here during our breaks. It can be a bit lonely since we don’t have enough coverage to have more than one of us on break at a time. It’s a quiet place to get away and take a mental break. Have a seat.”
Kat put her cup on the table and sat. Amber squeezed in close beside her and gave her a kiss.
“Are you sure we should be doing this back here? I don’t want to get you fired if your boss finds out.”
“It’s okay. Unless one of us screams loudly, no one will know, and besides this is not the first time I brought a girl back here. You look like you need this.”
