How do you stand out within the crowd?
Developing your personal brand is one way to increase your impact and attract opportunities. This is true for entrepreneurs and full-time employees.
The problem is that everyone I speak with is fearful of selling.
I've been learning tips and tricks from these 5 branding and marketing books.
In particular, Storybrand by Donald Miller is one of the most valuable books I've read this year.
You'll learn how to create a brandscript, a story of how your customer, the hero, engages with you.
The idea is simple. You want to communicate four ideas. Who is your customer? What is their problem? What is your plan to help them, and what will their life look like after you do?
To complement this idea, Zero to Solved by Arvid Kahl highlights that you must solve critical not optional problems:
"If you want to build a profitable business, you have to solve the most important problem your customer is facing, the one that, when solved, will change their life."
I've been reflecting on this further. What are the critical problems I help you solve?
Here are three ideas.
