WorkSafeNB’s video competition deadline is now closed and winners will be announced soon. The Focus on Safety contest challenged high school students to create a two-minute original video that captures the importance of working safely. Prizes will include cash for both students and their high schools.
This year we received the most submissions the annual competition has ever had after a two-year hiatus, and it is inspiring to see so many creative young people engaged and taking in active role in promoting workplace safety and sharing that message with their peers.
The first-place winning video from the New Brunswick contest will be entered in the Canadian “Focus on Safety” finals put on by Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety, where it will compete against other winning videos from across the country.
The top three winning videos will be shared on WorkSafeNB’s YouTube Channel and social media. Stay tuned.
