Dear Parents and Friends of the School,

Tomorrow we are asking children to dress up in red to support the charity Cure Kids. It would be appreciated if they could bring a gold coin for a donation. There may be something on the AM Breakfast Show (TV3) at 7.30am on Friday morning!

I hope families will have a chance for a break and enjoy a mid-winter refresh. School resumes on 22 July. Peter Thorne will be Acting Principal and Ali Levitt will be Assistant Principal, fully released. Jo Scott is teaching Room 1 for Term 3. I have been fortunate to receive a MOE sabbatical for Term 3.

Thank you for your attendance at the Parent Teacher Conference this week (and Room 18 last week). I was very impressed with the progress and achievement of all students and the comments staff made, including feedback. If you have any questions regarding your child’s report please feel free to talk to the teacher or contact Mr Thorne. There were many positive comments about socialisation and being ready for school.
